Meet Sarah: The AI Avatar Sales Agent That Looks You in the Eye

Okay, this one is going to mess with your head a little. I want to introduce you to Sarah.

She’s an AI avatar sales agent, an on-screen, human-like persona who greets you face-to-face, talks like a real person, and handles a full sales enquiry from hello to quote. We built her for Conquest Equipment, and in this video, I put her to the test live. The jury might still be out on whether this is the future of sales and customer service in person, but honestly? I’m pretty excited about it.

So, what exactly is an AI avatar sales agent?

It’s an on-screen persona — a face and a voice — linked through to a powerful AI brain and connected to your back-end systems. She doesn’t just read answers off a menu. She reasons through the conversation, qualifies the enquiry, recommends the right product, and pushes toward a quote landing in your inbox within minutes.

Think of it as the difference between a chat widget and an actual salesperson standing at your virtual front desk.

Watch Sarah handle a real enquiry

In the demo, a customer wants to hire a street sweeper for a car park. Sarah runs the whole thing herself:

  • Qualifies the job – Car park size (4,000m²), floor surface (rough concrete), what needs cleaning (dust and debris)
  • Confirms the dates – Next Thursday through Friday
  • Sorts the logistics – Electric power, Melbourne location, pickup
  • Recommends the right machine – The HD90E ride-on electric sweeper at around $263 a day plus GST
  • Captures the details – Name, company, phone, email and then moves toward generating the quote

All of that, conversationally, like you’re talking to a real person.

Yes, there are glitches and that’s the exciting part

I’ll be straight with you. We had slow internet on the day, so you’ll spot a few hiccups. The confirmation email didn’t fire on cue. There’s a bit of tidy-up still required.

But this is a proof of concept. And as a proof of concept, it’s amazing. This is what’s possible today. Imagine where it lands in three months. You could even load your own face and voice into the avatar and have yourself selling 24/7.

The technology is moving this fast. The businesses paying attention now are the ones who’ll be miles ahead.

See what an AI Sales Agent could do for you

If you’ve ever wondered what the future of face-to-face sales looks like, this is it and it’s arriving faster than most businesses realise.
